Microwave Blueberry Jam

Ingredients:    4 C. (1 litre) frozen blueberries
                    1 3/4 oz. (57 g) powdered pectin
                    1 1/2 C. (375 ml) sugar

Instructions:  Place berries in large casserole; cover and microwave on High for 5-7 min. or until fully defrosted.  Add pectin to berries, stir well and microwave, uncov-
ered on High 6-8 min. or until the berries reach a full rolling boil.

Add sugar and microwave 6-8 min.  If it boils too rapidly before the end of cooking time reduce power to med.-high or med. to prevent boil-over.  Stir and ladle into sterilized jars. Seal.

Yields 4 C. (1 litre) of fresh fruity jam.
